Tracy Novak, MPH
Tracy was a key leader in efforts to promote patients' engagement and participation in their care. Tracy knew that patients were the main health care workers. She saw the need to create partnership between patients and providers. Tracy was the driving force in having the first Johns Hopkins conference on Patient Engagement. Tracy was a co-founder of the Johns Hopkins Patient Engagement Program. The Patient Engagement Program is an ongoing legacy of her work to improve healthcare.
